In James Howard Kunstler’s view, public spaces should be inspired centers of civic life and the physical manifestation of the common good. Instead, he argues, what we have in America is a nation of places not worth caring about.
At first glance, Alex Romans ‘the Third & the Seventh’, appears to be a beautifully edited collection of architectural imagery, and essentially, that is what it is.
What is shocking to learn however, is that the entire film is made up of computer generated imagery: the buildings, interior, plant life, cinematography and final editing were all done from inside a little box of wires, guided expertly by the imagination of one, Alex Roman.
